During an outage, vague updates create more support work and erode trust. Participants receive evolving incident facts, uncertainty, stakeholder pressure, and user impact reports, then write status-page updates at each stage.

The session focuses on communication craft: what is known, what is not known, who is affected, what users can do, when the next update arrives, and how to close with a useful post-incident summary. It is designed for technical and non-technical operators.
