Locale Bug Safari: Dates, Money, Names, and Layouts Across Languages

Translation is only the first layer. In this lab, participants test an interface across locales and discover broken date formats, currency assumptions, plural rules, name ordering, overflowed labels, right-to-left risks, address fields, and sorting surprises.

The workshop turns localization into product quality work. Teams create a locale test matrix, identify risky assumptions, fix layout and formatting bugs, and decide what content must stay human-reviewed before release.
