Command Line Speedrun: Turn Raw Logs Into Answers

Participants get a pile of raw logs from a fictional service launch: mixed timestamps, bad requests, suspicious spikes, slow endpoints, and one buried root cause. The challenge is to answer specific questions quickly without opening a heavyweight dashboard.

We will practice grep, ripgrep, awk, jq, sort, uniq, cut, xargs, and small repeatable pipelines. The point is not showing off terminal tricks; it is building the ability to reduce noise, confirm facts, and share a reproducible command with the team.
