Build a Feature Flag System You Can Trust Under Pressure

Feature flags are powerful until they become invisible risk. In this workshop, participants build a small flag system and use it to release a risky change gradually, disable a failing path, and compare behavior between user groups.

We will cover flag ownership, default values, audit trails, stale flag cleanup, configuration loading, and what must happen when the flag service itself is unavailable. The session turns flags from a checkbox into an operational tool.
