Architecture Archaeology: Map a System From Traffic, Logs, and Source

Reverse-engineer a messy service so newcomers can understand how it really works.

Mixed · 2 hours · October 23, 2026 · June 3, 2026

Description

section.description

Documentation is missing, diagrams are outdated, and the system still has to be changed. Participants learn how to reconstruct architecture from routes, logs, traces, repositories, config files, database access, and actual user flows.

The deliverable is not a decorative diagram. It is a useful map that shows entry points, data movement, ownership gaps, operational risks, and questions that still need answers. This session is for anyone joining or inheriting a complicated codebase.
