Command Line Speedrun: Turn Raw Logs Into Answers

participants get a pile of raw logs from a fictional service launch: mixed timestamps, bad requests, suspicious spikes, slow endpoints, and one buried root cause. The challenge is to answer specific questions quickly without opening a heavyweight dashboard.

We will practice grep, ripgrep, awk, jq, sort, uniq, cut, xargs, and small repeatable pipelines. The point is not showing off terminal tricks; it is building the ability to reduce noise, confirm facts, and share a reproducible command with the team.

प्रतिभागियों को एक काल्पनिक सर्विस लॉन्च से प्राप्त रॉ लॉग्स (raw logs) का एक ढेर दिया जाएगा: जिसमें मिश्रित टाइमस्टैम्प, खराब अनुरोध, संदिग्ध स्पाइक्स, धीमे एंडपॉइंट्स और एक छिपा हुआ मूल कारण शामिल होगा। चुनौती यह है कि किसी भारी-भरकम डैशबोर्ड को खोले बिना विशिष्ट प्रश्नों के उत्तर जल्दी से दिए जाएं।

हम grep, ripgrep, awk, jq, sort, uniq, cut, xargs और छोटे दोहराने योग्य पाइपलाइनों का अभ्यास करेंगे। इसका उद्देश्य टर्मिनल ट्रिक्स का दिखावा करना नहीं है; बल्कि शोर को कम करने, तथ्यों की पुष्टि करने और टीम के साथ एक पुनरुत्पादनीय (reproducible) कमांड साझा करने की क्षमता का निर्माण करना है।
